MARCH 2026JUNE 2026

Estimates via Ahrefs API, 90-day comparison, pulled 2026-06-11. Pages shown are the /dossier/ entries in clay.com's twelve highest-traffic pages.

The data

clay.com ranks for an estimated 17,183 organic keywords at Domain Rating 78, with roughly 159K estimated monthly organic visits.

Eight of the site's twelve highest-traffic pages follow one URL template: /dossier/{company}-{fact-type}. The fact types observed: headquarters locations, CEO, and funding.

Across those eight pages, estimated monthly organic traffic grew from roughly 3.5K to roughly 13.6K between March 11 and June 11, 2026. That is approximately 3.9× in 90 days.

Individual page movements in the same window: the Costco headquarters page grew from ~257 to ~2,700 estimated visits. The Doubtnut funding page grew from ~6 to ~2,210. The Palantir CEO page grew from ~49 to ~987.

The pages rank against fact-style queries with meaningful volume: "costco wholesale corporation headquarters" (~17K monthly searches, position 5), "doordash headquarters" (~3.7K, position 2), "openai ceo" (~7.3K, position 9).

Every figure above traces to the 2026-06-11 snapshot. Estimates via Ahrefs API.

The read

Our read: this works because of who searches these queries. A person googling "doordash headquarters" or "palantir ceo" is very often doing sales or investor research on that company. That is the exact job Clay's product automates. The page answers the small question, then offers to answer the next five hundred. Most programmatic SEO fails on intent mismatch. This is intent match at template scale.

Our read on replicability: the template needs two things, a structured data source about entities your ICP researches, and a product that continues the searcher's task. The DR 78 domain helps rankings, but several of these pages outrank higher-authority news sites because the page format matches the query format. We think a focused version works from roughly DR 40 if the entity set is niche enough.

What we would not copy: the thin pages. The Doubtnut funding page ranks with 3 keywords and minimal content. That works today on a strong domain. It is the first thing a weaker domain should fatten up.
